These terms govern your use of thepetscent.com and any purchases you make from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Please read carefully.
1. About us
PetScent ("we", "our", "us") sells natural pet grooming products, operated from Bangkok, Thailand. You can reach us at admin@thepetscent.com.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 20 years old (the age of majority in Thailand) to place an order, or have permission from a parent or guardian. By ordering, you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. Your account
You don't need an account to browse or buy, but you can create one to track orders and earn loyalty points. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Products and orders
- We display product names, descriptions, ingredients, and prices to the best of our knowledge. Minor variations in pack design and colour may occur.
- All products are intended for use on dogs, cats, and exotic pets — not for human use.
- Always read the directions on the label. If your pet has a known skin condition, consult your veterinarian first.
- An order is confirmed only when we send a confirmation email and you receive a successful payment receipt. We reserve the right to cancel any order if a pricing error, stock issue, or fraud signal is detected. In that case, you'll be fully refunded.
5. Pricing and payment
- All prices are in Thai Baht (THB) and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.
- We accept credit/debit cards and PromptPay via Stripe. No card or PromptPay credentials touch our servers.
- Shipping is calculated at checkout. See our Shipping & Returns page for current rates and times.
6. Shipping and delivery
Full details — including domestic Thai shipping zones, expected times, and what happens if a parcel is lost or damaged — are on our Shipping & Returns page. The risk of loss transfers to you once the carrier marks the parcel as delivered.
7. Damaged or wrong items
We don't offer change-of-mind returns on pet care products. We do replace any item that arrives damaged in transit or that we shipped incorrectly. Message us via email or LINE with photos — we'll send a replacement and pick up the original at no cost. See Shipping & Returns for the full process.
8. Subscriptions (where applicable)
If you subscribe to recurring deliveries with a discount, you can pause, skip, or cancel anytime from your account. Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel. The next charge always reflects your current cart and current price.
9. Intellectual property
All content on thepetscent.com — text, photos, logos, illustrations — is owned by PetScent or used under licence. You may not copy, sell, or modify it without our written permission. You're welcome to share photos of your pet using our products on social media, with tags or credit.
10. Your content
If you submit reviews, photos, or comments, you keep ownership but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display them on the site and use them in marketing. You promise the content is yours to share, isn't defamatory, and doesn't infringe anyone's rights. We can remove content that violates these terms.
11. Prohibited use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to break, probe, or overload our systems
- Resell our products without prior written agreement (contact us for wholesale)
- Scrape product data, prices, or images for commercial use
- Pose as someone else or place fraudulent orders
12. Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is." We do everything reasonable to keep it working and accurate, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service or zero errors. Product results vary by pet — what works beautifully for one coat may suit another differently.
We are not veterinarians. Nothing on this site is medical advice. If your pet has skin issues, allergies, or illness, consult a qualified vet.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by Thai law, our total liability for any claim relating to your order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute will first be addressed in good faith between us. If we can't resolve it informally, the Thai courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the changes.
